i flipping love this game. at first i thought the romance thing was a little tacky since i was Fem!shepard and my only choice was kaiden or a xenophillic relationship with liara which was a little strange to me... i get the whole argument "its fine shes an asari" but lets face it. its just there as fanservice.

i actually sat and thought about it at lunch today . in the second game for fem shepard there are 3 options (4 if you import ) the first is jacob who isnt even intrested in you in the first place and is the only team member who is with you from the start. in the 3 game its reveled hes cheated on you and got someone else pregnant (great planning by the way. dont let a little thing like the reaper invasion and the end of the world stop you!!) so with hinesight hes not a great choice. thane is the second option but he already has a wife and an adult son so it feels a little strange ...even wrong to try and take him away from that. in the 3rd game he dies halfway through so hes not a great option either no matter how many times he called me shia

the 3rd option (if you imported) is kaiden. dont even get me started. the only reason i chose him in the first one was for the achievment but straight after the first mission with him i though he was being a complete tool. i just refused to go looking for him

the final option (the one i picked) was garrus . long story short i was annoyed that i put up with his nonsense about calibrations for just a head bump but the 3rd game more than made up for it. i was actually crying at the thought of not seeing him again ( and that is a whole other discussion i need to have with some games about propper story writing. this game is how it should be done) by the time i got to the reaper beam in london i had to pause it and get a tissue so i could see the frigging thing .

im upset that even though i got the shepard lives ending i was still upset that she wouldnt be in the 4th one. i thought i should go back and get the synthasis ending which is supposidly the "perfect" ending
