starting to realize

that even though my animation interview went badly and im not getting in, it probably isnt a bad thing.

i think ive realized that im creativly minded 
but
im not artistically minded


should probably explain that


when i want to do something (a  picture an animation etc) i dont want to have to go through 50 different interpretations of it in order to get to the final piece. i know what i want to do and i just want to do it.
i dont see the point in deviating if you know what you want to do and how to do it.

yes ok its good to explore different mediums and such but thats exactly the problem. 
in art school you have to reference where your ideas came from and what you are inspired by.
but im not inspired by other artists really. everything i do i do from my own head. or the things that DO inspire me arent art. theyre books and music and things in real life. 

i guess what im saying is that even though im creative and that i can channel that in an artistic way 

i dont think im cut out to be an artist or do an art course at University.
